Today, on this fingerstyle guitar website, you are going to learn many things related to fingerstyle guitar.
But first, a short introduction is very important: what is fingerstyle?
Fingerstyle is a way of playing guitar where we play lead, chords, and strumming together at the same time.
There are many types of fingerstyle. For example, one very popular style is called **percussive style**, where we play with percussion sounds as well. Another style uses the **bass note method**. There is also the **tap method**. All of these are part of fingerstyle guitar.
Out of these, I feel the easiest one is the **bass note method**. Since all of you are still in the learning stage, it is better to start with a method that is more comfortable and easy.
So first, we will understand the bass note method and learn what it is. Slowly, we will discuss all the other methods too. But to begin with, I think the bass note method is the best.
